KLLM Officers
Mr. Richards has over 20 years experience in the trucking industry and serves as the Company’s President & CEO. Mr. Richards has held various positions during his tenure at KLLM. Prior to becoming President & CEO, he served as KLLM’s Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Richards holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Mr. Liles has been with KLLM over 35 years and has served in a wide variety of positions during his career.
Prior to joining KLLM, Mr. Liles attended Mississippi State University, Millsaps College and is a veteran of the United States Armed Forces.
Mr. Thornton joins KLLM with 10 years of financial experience in the lubricants distribution and transportation industries. He was Director of Finance for three years at Windward Petroleum and prior to that, Chief Financial Officer for Total Transportation for 7 years.
Mr. Thornton holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Mr. Carpenter has over 22 years in the trucking industry and serves as Vice President of Operations. Prior to becoming Vice President, he served as Director of Customer Service.
Mr Carpenter holds a BS in Business Administration from Mississippi College.
Mr. Schott has over 15 years of trucking industry experience and is currently responsible for the company’s Information Technology systems and equipment maintenance facilities. Prior to joining KLLM, Mr. Schott worked as an Information Technology Consultant for Conway Consulting. Prior to that, he worked as an Information Technology Consultant for Andersen Consulting.
Mr. Schott holds a B.S. Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Mr. Szabo has been with KLLM for two years and has over 25 years of Human Resources experience in consumer products, truck, aerospace, and electrical distribution manufacturing.
Mr. Szabo holds a MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Business from Central Michigan University.
Mr. Tallant has over 20 years experience in the trucking industry and is currently responsible for the company’s relationship with Chiquita/Fresh Express, our largest customer, and management of Terminals and Regional Operations. Mr. Tallant has held various positions in both Operations and Sales and Marketing prior to his current position.
Mr. Tallant holds a B.S. in Banking and Finance from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Blankenship has over 27 years in the transportation industry. The last 22 years have been spent here
At KLLM. He has held numerous positions while at KLLM. Currently, Mr. Blankenship is responsible for the lease purchase program and driver recruiting.
Mr. Blankenship attended Pearl River Community College on football scholarship and the University of Southern Mississippi.
Mr. Curran is a former Special Agent with the United States Treasury Department, and has over 15 years experience in the insurance industry managing claims adjusters and investigators. Mr. Curran directs the Auto Liability Claims & Workers Compensation Claims Department, as well as Insurance Programs for KLLM.
Mr. Curran holds a BA degree in English from St. Thomas University in Miami, Fl.
Mr. Davis has over 25 years of experience in corporate accounting and business planning including serving as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch. Mr. Davis joined KLLM as Controller in 2004, and today, serves as Director of Financial Planning, responsible for KLLM’s operations forecasts and cash planning.
Mr. Davis holds a B.A. from the University of Mississippi and a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting from Millsaps College.
Ms. Gunter has 30 years of experience in Accounting with 11 of those at KLLM, where she currently serves as Controller. Prior to that, Ms. Gunter worked in the poultry industry for 18 years as a cost accounting manager and production analyst.
Ms. Gunter holds a B.S. in Accounting from Belhaven University.
Mr. Risinger has over 20 years experience in the Trucking Industry and serves as the companies Director of Safety. Mr. Risinger has held various positions at KLLM. Prior to becoming the Director of Safety, Mr. Risinger was the Director of Terminal and Regional Operations.
Mr. Risinger holds a B.S. In Business Administration with a Major in Banking and Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi.
