James M. Richards, Jr.

President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Richards has over 20 years experience in the trucking industry and serves as the Company’s President & CEO. Mr. Richards has held various positions during his tenure at KLLM. Prior to becoming President & CEO, he served as KLLM’s Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Richards holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi.

A. Wayne Hodges
Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Mr. Hodges has over 26 years of experience in the transportation industry, and, as the Vice President of Sales, Mr. Hodges is responsible for the Dry Van and Temperature Control sales programs and the Dry Van Division operations. Mr. Hodges has had responsibility for the functions of executive management and sales/marketing management in dry van for the package, LTL and truckload business while employed with United Parcel Service, M.S. Carriers, Trailer Bridge, and Empire Express. In his previous employment, he has held various management positions in terminal operations, regional and general sales management, and most recently Vice President of Sales at Empire Express.

Mr. Hodges attended Mississippi State University in General Business and has had extensive industry-specific training throughout his career.

Vincent A. Schott
Vice President of Maintenance / Information Services

Mr. Schott has over 14 years of trucking industry experience and is currently responsible for the company’s Information Technology Systems and Maintenance efforts. Prior to joining KLLM, Mr. Schott worked as an Information Technology Consultant for Conway Consulting. Prior to that, he worked as an Information Technology Consultant for Andersen Consulting.

Mr. Schott holds a B.S. Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.
